Name: Sawdust

Species: Mutant feline

Gender: Male

Defining Features:

- Mild grey, dark grey and white fur
- Large tear in left ear
- Dark eye bags
- Bright blue/turquoise eyes with small black pupils

His weapon of choice is a chainsaw, but he hardly uses it as he hates the idea of killing or inflicting pain on others, even if they're trying to do just that to him.

Sawdust, along with his brother, Jasper, were deemed fit enough to fight in World War Six. At that time, Sawdust's eyesight was immaculate. However, on his and Jasper's first tour, they were ambushed and cornered by grotesque, skeletal looking sentient robots, one of which, bombed the area where Sawdust and his brother were hiding. In the blast, Sawdust lost most of his sight due to the brightness of the explosion, and Jasper lost his left arm. Because of the bombing, Sawdust is now short sighted and can only see other beings and objects clearly if they are close to him. Otherwise, the world is a blur to him.

After the accident, he and his brother were transported back to the experiment labs so be treated. Jasper was given a mechanical arm to replace his missing one, after he was deemed stable after loosing a tremendous amount of blood. However, Sawdust's vision is permanently damaged, and as a result, two tiny black pupils appeared as a reminder of how he lost his perfect sight.

Not being able to return to the battlefield, due to the mental recovery process being too lengthy for the scientist's liking, the two were sent away to No-Man's Land to fend for themselves. Upon arrival, they took shelter in a huge mansion just outside of one of the small towns located in the damaged land, on the boarder of a large forest. This mansion, unbeknownst to them, was owned by Steamtrain , the very first mutant made by the same scientists, and the first to inhabit No-man's Land. Despite his unpredictable and sometimes sadistic nature, he felt pity for Sawdust and his brother, thus, inviting them to live with him, Dreamstealer and the other mutants who were lucky enough to be taken in by Steamtrain.

Sawdust is a hyperactive but gentle character. He is very protective of his brother and the two are almost always seen with one another. His hobbies include sewing using a broad range of materials, his favourite being the dead bodies of various smaller animals who had died of natural causes. He partakes in taxidermy, but sees it a a way to bring the dead animals he woks with back to life. He has a firm fear and hatred of death, which may be linked to his and Jasper's near death experience in the war zone.
