It didn't really hit me until I put the old one next to the new, but holy crap my art has improved so much within the past few years that it's hilarious. LOOK AT THE OLD ONE: clockwork-jack.deviantart.com/… THAT ONE HONESTLY LOOKS SCARIER THAN THIS ONE.

I was fourteen when I drew the old one well nine days away from fourteen but close enough and I drew it for this website called DIY.org. I used to go on there a lot around age twelve/thirteen-ish, because it was all about doing cool challenges and earning badges, kind of like online girl scouts or something (which was made even funner because I was home schooled at the time). Also you could have a channel and it was 10x easier to get attention on there compared to DeviantArt, where I was lucky to get a single Favorite. Trust me when I say that tiny me thought I was famous every time I got a Favorite.

I know differently now, of course. Now I have much higher standards, and I know that one measly Favorite just isn't worth celebrating. Nowadays, I sometimes get two whole favorites SO YEAH I'M PRACTICALLY FAMOUS--

Admittedly the old one wasn't ever meant to be a masterpiece. I put barely any effort into it so that I could just upload it and get the badge. x'D But it honestly wouldn't have looked much better if I'd really tried, judging by how my other anthros from that time looked. You can bet I put waaaaaay more time and effort into this one!
