Once upon a time, I couldn't draw robots for the life of me, but I had figured out that ponies were pretty simple. So... Yeah... Otherwise it would have been an actual TFP comic. I swear. THE OLD ONE LOOKS TERRIFYING HOW WAS THAT ONLY TWO YEARS AGO.
Despite the content, I actually really like/had a lot of fun with the shading in this new version. xD

It's funny, because I remember drawing it as a wee little eleven-year-old (or twelve?) girl, being extremely frustrated because I couldn't convey the emotions I wanted to, yet. The old 'I DON'T CARE!!!' panel is so hilarious. :'D Like, the shading is so light--the atmosphere is sad. Because, you know... There wasn't one. I was imagining the drama in my head. It filled in the gaps. 8I
I still remember a good portion of the story-line, and honestly think that it would have made a great comic--had it been actual TFs. And--er--well-drawn.

Yeah. Not that it looks really good, and you can DEFINITELY sense the atmosphere better, it can be taken more seriously. But theres just something about that line xD

Maybe. x'D But I haven't seen Transformers Prime in so long, I'm afraid that I'd get some facts wrong or something. Every TF show is basically a new TF universe, with the same general facts and backstory. (I tend to combine the TFP and TFA universes, for the sake of uniqueness/fun) The only consistent things is that Optimus Prime is USUALLY voiced by Peter Cullen (who--by the way--acts exactly like Optimus in real-life. He's like the grandfather everyone wants) and Megatron is USUALLY voiced by Frank Welker. (Who acts nothing like Megatron in real life, and is more or less best pals with Peter.) If you're wanting something to obsessively nerd out over, watch Tranformers Prime--or even Transformers Animated. Because TFs is one of the only shows I've seen that says it's for kids, but the characters have actual development and backstory, and the voice actors are always really good, and hilarious at conventions. NERD WITH ME. THE TF VOICE ACTORS ARE AWESOME AND LITERALLY MY ACTING INSPIRATION.

Well, that's what artistic liberty is for xD Then again, that's something fangirls/boys really don't seem to like when it comes to fanart and fanfictions and stuff. Oh well, it's not like the purpose of drawing is to please people.

Pfft, yeah. Some of the original TF fans (who grew up watching the 80s show/playing with the old, cooler toys), are kind of snobby about how they're... You know... The first. Most of them don't care, and are just glad that one way or another, the franchise is still going. But there's a handful that just complain about EVERYTHING new, EVERY TF show after the first couple, and when a newer fan talks about something that exists in a newer TF universe, they're reaction is more or less: "UGH, that's NOT accurate--every ORIGINAL fan knows that--" *insert random fact here* "AND THE NEW DESIGNS ARE HORRIBLE."
Well, there's been a new design every few years, and they're always pretty recognizable. Accept for Micheal Bay's. So when I draw them, I find it really fun to combine the designs, until I draw how I picture them. And when I write Fan-Fics, I combine the robot slang from both TFA and TFP, and usually put them in some sort of universe that relates to a few of the shows.
