"Corporal?" You walked into his office without knocking, announcing your presence with your voice. He was lying back in his chair, and you stopped dead in you tracks realising he was, in fact, asleep. Unsure how to proceed you hovered in the doorway. He actually looked kinda sweet asleep, and you absent mindedly muttered 'Levi' Which caused him to stir, and a smile tugged at his lips at the sound of your voice, before startling him awake. The smile dropped off of his face and resumed his stoic expression.

"What do -" He started, then seemed to realise that he summoned you.

"Sit down -Name-" He stated, which was strange. The last time he told you to 'sit down' was when he made you second in command. The atmosphere felt different now though, as if rainclouds were hovering above you, just waiting to burst.

"Corporal?.." A suspicious tone crept into your voice as you sat, tense, in your seat. The Corporals stone grey eyes were full of something you couldn't place.

"-Name- you didn't go on the last expedition, correct?"

"Err no sir, but you know that"
"Please state why"

"That wasn't a question, sir, and you know the answer"

"Just state the damn reason"

"I broke my ankle, sir"

"So you have no idea of casualties, and or fatalities to this date?"

"No sir, no-one will tell me"

He spoke one word. One word that had you go stiff with shock, and made you run from the room as fast as you could run, and without looking back.

Levis POV
He slumped in his chair. Defeated. He was going to go after her, but he lacked the courage. She needed consoling, and he hadn't the faintest idea how to do it. He wished he could, because to see her happy was all he ever wanted. Her safety was all he desired. Well not ALL. He placed his hand against the window and simply murmured:

"-Name-"
