Wow, I've been uploading a lot of Hollow Fields art lately, in preparation for the release of volume one! Here's the new (but still tentative) cover art for the first book in the series, and I decided to go with a sort of an 'art nouveau' look. Wide-eyed redheaded schoolgirl Lucy and mechanical steam-driven maid Miss Notch say - welcome to Hollow Fields, enjoy your stay! But be careful of those two lurking in the background - Stinch and Miss Weaver are never up to any good...!The first volume (hopefully with this as the cover) is due out in June 2007! Nice cover. It's definately different from most manga covers that I have seen. Your cover sort of reminds me of a children's book but a little bit more mature. I like the background and the placement of the characters(especially Miss Notch). I already pre-ordered a copy of Hollow Fields from my local comic store so hopefully I will get to see that cover when I get it.

Yes, it's more like a children's book cover - that's sort of what we were going for, since Hollow Fields is essentially a fantasy story. Wow, you've already ordered a copy? Amazing! I hope you enjoy the book, and thanks!
