Wow, I've been uploading a lot of Hollow Fields art lately, in preparation for the release of volume one! Here's the new (but still tentative) cover art for the first book in the series, and I decided to go with a sort of an 'art nouveau' look. Wide-eyed redheaded schoolgirl Lucy and mechanical steam-driven maid Miss Notch say - welcome to Hollow Fields, enjoy your stay! But be careful of those two lurking in the background - Stinch and Miss Weaver are never up to any good...!The first volume (hopefully with this as the cover) is due out in June 2007! This seems like a good time to chime in with HF love
A few weeks back I found gomanga and browsed through the previews. Hollow Fields jumped out of the monitor and held me face-to-screen by my ears until I read the entire preview. I even bookmarked a page ahead of what was released just to get instant one click access to the newest page. (it told me I was #1 leet haxxorz). It was much to my chagrin it lasted only three more weeks before the preview ended. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The characters are great, the story is a lot of fun, and your artwork is phenomenal! You show true understanding of authentic manga storytelling and page design few others grasp.
I look forward to seeing it in stores and wish you much success.

The amount of detail you put into your pictures is beautiful. Your colouring technique is so vivid, and colourful.

This is way better then the last cover art :3 Totally worth all the headaches its been for you! and I'm not just saying that because of its increased Miss Notchness X3 (which I am totally gonna finish the fan art I did of her eventually, but I gotta rescan it cause I lost all the progress I made, and now my scanner driver doesn't want to install <_<

Ahh, scanners are annoying, but mine is a five year old Canon and amazingly it still works great. Thanks for the comment! Can't wait to see your version of Miss Notch, you'll have to send me a note when it's done!
