i love this! in my gallery i have a drawing i did awhile back and it is a cross between a lizard-a bird wing-and human ligaments-oh and fish gills! lol...

AWESOME use of screentones. specially since you are not using comicworks or comic studio for pro toning. It looks professional and clean. Nice and pretty. love it.
How did you manage to add some light on that gear behind? I tought when working screentones it should always be 2 bit artwork.
Are you running on wirepop now then? How much do you make? (I can guess it's not much money , I'm just curious)

Hiya!
The light on the gear is done the same way as all the other gradients - using the gradient tool in photoshop, the foreground colour set at white...then setting the tool's blend to linear dodge. At about...hmmm, between 10 and 20%, I think! (I haven't toned in a while...)

In a perfect world, I would be able to use some form of mind extraction to steal your screentoning skills and then transplant them into my own etheral being, and then use that skill for evil.
This, however, is not a perfect world.

Now THAT is some excellent use of screentones. I'm actually curious as to where you acquired the digital set. I have a friend who's been looking into getting some, even going as far as buying a CD.
And I love the shape and expression on her face. Why is it so fascinating?
