Description
Not long after jettisoning his old body, Mr Croach commissioned a formal portrait to hang in his private office. It was long thought to have been destroyed by a fire caused by two young students, who were at the time trying to build a 1:100 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower using a large woolen picnic blanket and a bucket of dead squid. (How they managed to start the fire is a mystery for another day.) However a patron of the arts living in Nullsville is believed to have had it smuggled out of Hollow Fields by means unknown. I love the colors you chose! Though you made him have a reddish outfit against the greenish background - it doesn't remind me of Christmas at all. XD (Which is a good thing - because I always get a "Christmassy" vibe when I see red and green together.) Also, the shading on Mr. Croach is fantastic!
Though I don't approve of smoking, I definitely approve of how you drew the smoke here! (Maybe I wouldn't cringe so much if I saw this coming out of the mouths of smokers in my town.)
Once again, this is beautiful! Keep up the great work! One day I hope to color my pictures as wonderfully as you color yours.

Wow the smoke looks frickin cool. It sucks that it gets a little lost in the upper corner, since I guess the texture is making it too dark- you lose some of the nice details. Looks fantastic though I like this a lot!

I knows how they started the fire! The squids were filled with valve oil for a trumpet (it's flammable AND combustable, makes me wonder why Hollow Field doesn't buy it by the tons...) and they started using power tools and the oil got lit on fire and the picnic blanket touched the fire and there you go! FIRE!
I have to admit though, Croach does look sophisticated but my heart belongs with Stinch (HE is a BOY)! lol! jks! That would be...creepy...
