Commissioned work: I was asked to paint the Red Knight from Castle Crashers on black velvet.I threw in the Painter Boss just so it wouldn't be boring. There are two of his painting minions in the foreground - the octopus and the carrot clock. Watch the painter boss in action!
I was floored that so few artists have created fan art of the Painter Boss. You'd think that some other artists would be thrilled by a boss that uses art to attack the players.

It took me FOREVER to realize that the color of the paint on the boss's brush was announcing the minion he was about to summon. I tried to reflect that in this painting.
Also, I am THIS close to completing (what I hope will be) an impressive painting. Check back in a week or so and I'll have it up. I'd love to hear your feedback on it.

Thank you! It took me a bit to come up with the ideal way to show the painter boss painting his minions and attacking the knight. A couple of sketches later, this is the result. Thanks for appreciating the detail!

I was torn between the Painter and the Popcorn boss. I was also toying with the idea of doing the shadow/cat boss from the deer riding level...but that would have been so cheap to paint on black velvet.
