OMG thanks for the pack! great for wallpapers. I was actually looking for the PSD and it has it!! Woot!. BTW here is an idea... Take the background wallpaper and make a full pack of just that but in different colors!! Like red and blue.

long story short: (this is in Photoshop CS5
1)get the skin file for the creature (i was using the paiterly pack)
2)find a nice bit of blank skin for the backgroun in the skin. make it HUGE so it takes up the whole canvas
3)copy the distinctive face of the creature. put it on a new layer, abve the resized background
4)on the background layer, add a radial gradient white -> trasperant (the glow in the background)
4) on the sace layer, add an internal black drop shadow, offset down quite a bit, and an external drop shadow in white, offset a tiny bit
VOILA!
