"Maple Sweet woke up one morning and felt a chilly breeze blow in through her window. She looked out and saw the ground covered in colorful dry leaves. What a beautiful day! Maple was so excited to go outside that she ran downstairs and rushed to her front door, but as she put her hoof on the doorknob, she felt her stomach rumble. Oh fine, breakfast first. Maple went to the kitchen and made a big stack of fluffy pancakes drenched in maple syrup. She ate them in such a hurry that she was a bit careless, and she ended up with syrup all over her face, but she didn't care. Maple hurried outside, grabbed her rake from the shed, and gathered as many leaves as she could into a gigantic pile. She backed up, got a running start, and leapt into her pile of leaves. When she stood up, she realized that a bunch of leaves were stuck to her face and looked like a bushy beard, and she couldn't help laughing at herself."

It baffles me that after all these years, decades even, there are so few brown ponies. There are lots of fun sources of inspiration for ponies that could be brown, but for whatever reason no one has taken the opportunity. Make brown ponies, Hasbro, so I don't have to make them all myself.
