EDIT : I uploaded a higher resolution.I tried to have my shadowing as soft as the words he's telling her.

Full page reference on a 2010 newspaper. I had to improve in order to draw this one the way I wanted it. I tried to be less impatient than I use to be to finish it.

I think maybe his eye could be a bit sharper (since I noticed you saying you weren't fully satisfied below)? As her earring is, and her hair is quite sharp as well. I think if the shading of his eye were a little lΓ©ss smooth (mainly just the folds and lashes perhaps), it would make for a nice extra focal point that would help drag our gaze around the picture. Am I making any sense?
