Description A stop motion puppet inspired by the wendigo creature from legend. His antlers were created by molding epoxy putty over twin sticks and his skin was created by wrapping masking tape over a foamed wire armature. The tape was then lightly coated in latex to hold its form, painted, and lastly peppered with cinnamon before the paint dried for added texture. Diego now smells faintly of cinnamon when brought close, a happy after effect

The only way I can convince most people to handle him is by telling them that his butt smells like cinnamon xD You just can't say no after a disclosure like that, lol. I guess the moral to that story is that any monster creature could be made approachable with the right type of perfume

The Boogieman isn't so scary once you discover he dusts his booty with goodness! Lol that's odd and charming and frankly I find myself... hankering to sniff Diego's spicey behind 👍: 0 ⏩: 0

This is so awesome! I've been trying to make legs similar to this for a stop motion puppet but I'm struggling with getting the shape/texture right haha

Thanks! A few layers of masking tape worked well for me since it holds shape without being overly stiff. After padding an armature that your satisfied with, I’d also recommend bending it in different postures to see how it looks and then adding/taking from that bulk until the character works at different angles. Hope that helps, and good luck with your work!
