Behold! The official Pony University Facebook page now has an acceptable profile picture! The previous one, which was basically a cropped screenshot of the original Let's Go and Meet the Bronies video by JanAnimations, remained as the page's identifier for a whopping 587 days, but the time has finally come to give it a well-deserved upgrade to something that's better formatted and represents the page much more clearly. Thus this was born!

I had another idea in mind for this when I started to kick around the idea of a new profile picture, but I managed to forget what it was, so I went ahead and did this by mashing together a bunch of vectors I already made. All I had to do was get rid of the rose in Cloud Control's mouth. Almost made Cloud Control and John de Lancie facing each other for this, but given the unfortunate implications of that placement, I decided against it. The only "new" part of this image is the title sign thing at the top that says "Pony University", which itself is heavily based on the original sign from the video.

Why these two? Well, John de Lancie has already been well-established on the page as the university's superintendent, so naturally he should be the face of whatever material is used to promote the page, but Cloud Control is the guy who runs the page, so it's only fitting that he should also have a place on the page's main image.

There you have it, then. The new and improved Pony University profile picture! Revel in its majesty and get excited that this means something probably!
