I've been missing Nalani, so here she is. I actually have a couple different half-done sketches of her running around, but ~lightstep drew me these gorgeous lines, and I just had to color them. I'm sure you guys see why.

Anyhow, she was doing free requests, and honestly I've been dying to color some pencil/sketchy lines instead of digital lines. Unfortunately I now feel like half my gallery is just linearts Ah well. I'm finally getting out of my hating-every-sketch-I-do-ever funk, so yay!

Still, it's nice to practice shading without pressure! I like it. Although her eye was a little difficult. I couldn't decide about the highlight, but in the end I decided to leave it, because when I deleted it, her eye lost the definition...and darn those charms, again! They're really hard to do at such a small size. That'll teach me! Also...I like my mountains. They kinda look like mountains. Cool huh?
