Note to self...don't stick stupid things (like sun-shaped charms) on characters you like enough to draw them again and again...stupid little sun! *beats it*Anyway, I wanted this to have a sketchier feel, so that's why I left some of the lines...so on...so forth...I
my girl. Really enjoyed working on her mane especially...Special thanks to =PolarisAstrum , who took the time to redline this for me when I was whining about shading. Thank you, my darling!
I'm still not 100% satisfied, but that's my fault, not yours.
Couldn't bear to stick my watermark on it...so I'll use dA's.
And I just realized...the moon is much bigger than the sun..whoops. Ignore that. >.> And for the background...

Those charms can be a bit difficult to draw repeatedly. I really like the colors in the coat and the mane, they definitely look like dawn and dusk. The colors in the eye are also well done.

Hehe, I had trouble with the little charms too when I drew Nalani
I really love the way you've done her eye. I might do a face portrait of her because I want to get all of those colors that I couldn't get with the full body drawing
And leaving the sketchy outline works here because it sets her apart from the background. Without it, I think she would look a little lost in the reds and oranges of the sunset. The colors in her mane are fabulous too

She looks so gorgeous here! I love the way you shaded her orange coat especially it looks so shiny and glowy like she's made of sunshine... which is very fitting indeed! 
Ahah and you did a great job with the 'stupid little sun' (lol) considering how much you hate having to draw it

You most certainly aren't! Oh, hahaha xD I like your half-moon though. It's just more stylistic...not fail! I cheat for mine anyway. I use the elliptical marquee tool, force it to draw a perfect circle, and then chop it down to what I want with a hard eraser
