My headcanon is that Sandbar's father is the brother of Tree Hugger. Which makes Tree Hugger Sandbar's aunt.

He doesn't have an official name, but some have been calling him Beachcomber. His real cutie mark is shown in a gameloft advertisement. It's a salmon. But I can't get the image big enough to make the cutie mark

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention. I gave the father a cutie mark based on the G1 pony, Angel. I chose it because it fits with the ocean theme Sandbar has and because his colors remind me of Angel.
