Description
Hi peeps c:I made a little step by step of my coloring process!
Steps:
1- Digital lineart
2- Fill lineart with solid dark color
3- In a layer BELOW the lineart: Roughly, with a soft brush, put in the colors desires.
4- Add some more details still below the lineart
5- make a layer on top of everything, polish the drawing, correct mistakes and add more detail
6- start focusing on correcting the colors as well as adding detail
7- prepare to finish everything up, I like using a layer set as "soft light" to add more life to the drawing, add some texture if desired
8- and you're done c:

I make a rough sketch with a pencil, scan it, and then make a lineart on photoshop cs6 with a round brush ouo I don't worry about making it look good since I paint over the lines and re-make the lines that are necessary as I go

Thanks a lot for sharing this! Can I ask a final question? Are there specific presets for the brush you used to polish the lineart?

Well, not really, I usually just erase the original scribbly lineart and make a new one gently with a soft brush, with the pressure level turned on in my drawing tablet c: A round hard edge brush with low opacity works fine too, just make sure to zoom in
