a simple step by step of the doodle I made today, sorry if my handwriting is hard to read.I hope it gives a bit of insight in my drawing process for more simple drawings.
In case anyone is curious about the colouring, I do the colouring like I do in step 3 on a single layer; this includes the shading as well.

everything but the face turned out great
(though, to be fair, I didn't spent too much time on the face)
