Most of the image invokes the intended "Badassery" but... The face. THE FACE.
It tells me "Is that my shell casing? Wait, I shot something? ... Why am I dropping the gun in my left hand?" or more concise "Intense confusion".
Also have you ever tried moving from that stance? It isn't fast, nor a practical pose for well... anything, even a outright sniper isn't going to go into that pose for many reasons, including his/her right leg will fall asleep.
