“For as long as I can remember, the golden rule has been ‘family comes first.’ The second rule was ‘never take s*** from others.’ Thats how I was raised, and thats how me and my parents ran our family garage. When I was 16, my mom passed away. For the next couple of years it was just me and dad. He taught me all there was to know about fixing everything that ran on wheels. Though I was never quiet on his level. In his spare time he taught me some of the things he learn during his time in the Marines. I found this a lot more interesting. Learning to shoot straight, punch hard, and blow shit up. And to avoid getting caught with that last one. Thats how it was, all and all not to shabby. Until those f***ers started showing up. Demanding us to pay them protection money just because they decided we were part of their turf. We’d been able to handle thugs and would-be-tough-guys before. But these guys were playing for keeps. After one too many of our refusals, they showed up and just started shooting. Daddy told me to run and I did. One of the thugs tried to catch me, but I put him down with our ol double barrel shotgun. That was the first time I really killed anyone. When the fighting seemed to stop and I saw them driving away, I went back to the garage. There I found my dad. All shot to hell and laying in a pool of his own blood. He died holden my hand as we said our goodbyes. Cried me a river that night. The police did nothing to find the ones who did this. Either they were stupid, or they were on these guys’s payroll. Either way, it was clear I had to take matters into my own hands. Cause you don’t f*** with family. I started tooling up with all the guns me and my daddy owned, along with crafting all the makeshift weapons that could slash and go bang that I had materials for. I also made a few ‘special’ modifications to my pickup truck. A few bits of armor here. Some sharper edges there. Sure as hell wouldn’t be street legal, but sure would pack a wallop. Afterwards I started combing the streets. Grilling up every low life I could find to get intel on where to find the bastards who killed my daddy. An angry woman with a crowbar can be mighty persuasive like that. Eventually I found where they held up in an old warehouse. When they were all gathered there I rammed through the doors in my newly armored truck and let all hell break loose. Ran them down, set off a few pipe bombs, and tested out just how effective a pair of hood mounted flame throwers were. Got most of them that way. When the others scattered out of the trucks reach, I was forced to get out and started to fill those f***ers with as much lead as I was packing. Their boss was the last to go. I beat him to a bloody pulp with that there crowbar I mentioned earlier. When it was all over I had quiet a few cuts, bruises and bullet grazes. But I was still living. Didn’t think I’d actually planned on surviving come to think of it. Not sure what to do I just sat there a while before combing around the place until I found a list of names an locations for other gangs and mobs like this one. The sort of scum that would cause the same pain and suffering I’d been through. They had a lot of ordinance still laying around the place. So I figured, why stop here.”
