Bet you didn't expect me drawing Undertale! Don't worry, I didn't see it coming either, ahah.
So because of all the Deltarune talk, I decided to open up Undertale after a long time and completed the Pacifist route for the first time, and...I really gotta admit that I appreciate this game exponentially more now. I only knew about the regular route and some of the alternative things you can do; I was clueless about the Pacifist & the Genocide route other than their existence (and well, Sans 'cause he's everywhere).
And lemme just say, I'm really glad that I was never spoiled of that part of the game. It's so rare for me to get me that emotionally connected to the characters and the story (and yes, I'm a softie, but that was on a level of its own). You throw in a final boss like that one, & that's how you seal the deal with me. That gave me SO many Earthbound feels, & the way that fight was designed sets the tone so darn well. Seriously, unless you were like me and didn't play that last part of the game, then play it all the way through to see what I mean. If you did finish it when it was relevant, I just wanna say how much I love this soundtrack .
I legit don't want to do the Genocide run anymore because of how much I don't want to "reset" everything. I can see now why this game exploded 3 years ago. I can also finally play Deltarune now, I've been holding that off for quite a while now

I've said it before but I love this so much, you really captured the emotion and feeling of it. Great job.

This was one of the best, maybe even defining experiences of this decade for me. The advances we've made in technology have opened up the door for a new age of storytelling, and almost nothing shows it quite like UnderTale. Video games have allowed stories not just to be great, but also to allow the audience to feel involved, more invested, and to make every experience personal. This isn't just a story you accept; it's one you make. YOU. That's what's so great about it.
UnderTale wasn't the first to do this, and it might not even be the best depending on who you ask. But so far nothing else has grabbed so many people's attention in quite the same way.
Toby Fox, you're a legend if I've ever seen one.
