Whoa. Apple Bloom is grown up and she still doesn't have her cutie mark. Poor girl just can't get a break.

...she's not an adult. She's still a filly here. xD

Well, in that case, I think you may have made a mistake. I arrived at my conclusion that this was Apple Bloom grown up because I read the proportions as being those of the adult ponies, not those of the fillies.

I may have made her legs a big too long then. Ah well, that's something to improve on in the future. Thanks for the critique.

I did a bit of research into pony proportions (by examining a couple of season 2 episodes which had adult and filly characters in the same scene). Here are my findings:
Adults: 3 heads tall, jaw to bottom of body equals 1 head, jaw to floor equals 2 heads. Length of legs is 1+1/3 times the height of the body.
Fillies: 2+1/3 heads tall, jaw to floor is 1+1/3 heads. Legs are same length as the height of the body.
Adult heads are 1+1/4 times the size of filly heads.

That's pretty interesting.
But... I don't go ocd over the proportions. I just draw. xD I find if I worry just about how proportional the head is to the legs, and the hair, and the tail... then I wind up caring more about how exactly perfect it is, rather than the feel of it. You know?
But I've written those down and I'll try to be more mindful of them in future endeavors. Thanks.

To be honest, I stop worrying about proportions after the planning stages, when I stop using ball-and-stick models for the characters. The way I see it, if I don't get the proportions right by the end of the planning stages, I'm probably not going to get them right on this image at all.

And then the Big Bad Wolf came and asked Little Red Mane-bow where she was taking those goodies....

That's actually where I got the inspiration for this. I was originally going to give her a red cape as well but then I realized I can't draw clothing for beans so I was like FORGET THAT and threw it out the window.
