“Ouch!!!” Michelle’s ankle slightly twisting on the jogging track snapped her out of her train of thought. Jogging was a great way to burn off stress from work (and get her toned back into the feminine figure she was accustomed to), but when doing so on a tender (and still fairly sprained) ankle did have its risks. Add to the mix that her knee was acting up again. Funny how some times the broken bones heal just fine, and others just leave those nagging reminders. At least she was well stocked with a wide variety of braces to help with that, the one she wore on her ankle dated back in to her cheerleading days!

Hobbling over to a wall at the side of the jogging track, Michelle lifted her ankle in her good left arm and tested it with some light stretching. “Mmmm!” she winced as pulling it sparked a wave of pain up her leg. Yep, definitely re-sprained, no more jogging today. At least she felt like she could walk on it, although not without a noticeable limp. Definitely a pillow and an ice pack with her ankle’s name on it back home. Maybe crutches or the boot, but preferably not if it could be avoided. Maybe she’d try that air-cast brace that just strapped up the sides again, she hadn’t taken it out in a while but it had seemed to help in the past.

At least the cast came off next week. It had started to get pretty worn out since she had started to exercise again, and she was really looking forward to giving her arm a good wash. Hell, just having a shower again where she could just strip down and jump in would be wonderful. The amount of prep with a cast to do something as simple as that was just brutal. Excilionia….

Doing her best to not look injured, Michelle slowly shuffled along the side of the jogging track. A grimace on a painful step was enough for one person to stop quickly to check. “I’m OK, just a twisted ankle,” Michelle told them. Unconvincing, but enough to get them to carry on their way. “Now where was I,” Michelle asked herself and she limped awkwardly home, “Oh yeah.” Excilionia…
