Had to do a "narrative still life" pencil drawing to prep for an etching assignment. I haven't worked with pencil in about four years so there are a lot of problem areas and I'm not quite sure if I like it yet.I would really have preferred to be able to do a lot more dramatic lighting and not fail at drawing stuff but I guess I'll wait until my next pencil drawing to give that a proper go.
I think the dimensions are somewhere around 11"x16".

Oh wow, that's a lot of plants! O.o That must've taken quite a bit of patience to draw. It looks lovely. ^^ I really like seeing you combine plant and mechanical life in your artwork.

Oh you noticed it! I tend to put it in all my pictures just as an "I made this happen" stamp thing because I find actual signatures too distracting.
The symbol itself actually started as a sort of stylized dragonfly because I had this necklace with on that I used to always wear when I first picked up drawing. It's taken on a more geometric form now and I changed the top part (originally antennae) to a triangle because my little world philosophies are strongly based around the number 3.
Probably more information than you wanted, but no one's ever asked so I enjoyed explaining. >.>;;

Haha not too much info at all! That's exactly what I wanted to know, I was hoping you wouldn't just be like "oh that's my signature." Yeah, I noticed it in your other stuff and was curious.
