Description Trying out some tattoo studio assets for Phase 1 Kara's shop, and figuring out how she would work. I don't really like the room itself, so going to have to transplant all the furniture to somewhere a bit more like what I had in mind. The alignment in the mirror was a total fluke!

Year sure the room looks too less like an ink studio and more like a clinic room. An ink studio is full of pictures from tattoos to give inspirations and the hoodie was so out of place. A tattoo maker has its own body as free advertising space, so seeing one with mostly covered body could be a bad omen.

It's certainly a much more American/retro look than I want, I'm aiming more for London hipster.

As for the hoodie... well, perhaps she just popped in on her day off. And it's unusual for a tattoo artist to have decorated their own body so it's only advertising space for another's skill!

How lovely to see phase 1 Kara! It makes her later situation that much more poignant.

Love her hair and her hoodie. The surgical gloves are a nice touch. And the depiction of her lower limb amputations is really nice and subtle in this picture... it took me a moment to realise where we were in her history! Great to see her at work too! And the way she's sitting on the bench alongside her client makes perfect sense for her.

Great image!

I think in some situations she might need to sit ON her client, but perhaps only if they're very well acquainted...

I'd like to try and get a bit more of this part of her life into the story, but ideally in a way that stands as it's own narrative rather than just a reflection on what the "now" Kara has lost. More thinking required!
