Description This is part of my "Gizoid Imitator" series, where I take a random character, and draw them as a Gizoid, who are powerful robots from Sonic Battle and Sonic Chronicles, that are able to copy the abilities of those they fight, to create unique Gizoid designs. It's as if these mimic masters decided to fully embody those that they copied. I based the framework design on my current Emerl and Gemerl Redesigns, which are more complicated than their original designs in Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3, respectively.

I do not intend to take requests, though don't let that stop you from dropping ideas. If I like the idea, I might take it, and add them to my list to work on later.

Sorry this one took a while. I keep getting myself into Gizoid projects with lot's a details and different pieces. I just HAD to do this one.

I honestly thought I wouldn't be doing a Sonic character. While I originally had plans to maybe do Infinite as a Gizoid Imitator, but I thought about it more, and since Gizoids are already Sonic characters / robots, I realized it probably wouldn't be as interesting as I first thought. Remember, my Gizoid Imitators are meant to challenge me to figure out how to make these designs work as a Sonic robot. The similar art design to be to easy. So, doing any Sonic character as a Gizoid Imitator was shelved.

Then Sonic Frontiers came out.

The Titans were such cool designs. These towering robots coming out a Cyber Space, with these awesome, imitating designs that are almost nothing like previous Sonic designs. I got inspired by the idea of combing the Titan designs with the Gizoid's, a fusion of two of the most powerful robots in Sonic lore. Plus, I rarely get the chance to do a piece celebrating the release of my favorite games, as I usually already have different plans for my art, and I really wanted to do something for Sonic Frontiers, which is the best Sonic game to come out in a long time.

I chose Supreme, as, despite the... disappointing fight, I think he's the coolest Titan in Frontiers. His design and concept and so freaking awesome, especially that gigantic, screw-you sniper rifle. And I don't know if you've seen these, or when they were found, but there are several unfinished and unused attacks for Supreme that were found in the games, and one is just boss. Supreme, massive, towering android, is moving at crazy speeds to get around Super Sonic and shoot him with his rifle, even finish with a super high jump flip. Like, what!?

If you haven't seen them, here's a video link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=40CCpB…

But beyond that, I kind of got the most attached to the Supreme Titan, because it's the Titan Sage pilots at the end of the game, so she can help fight The End. It's this Titan she was controlling when she made her sacrifice.

I should get into that next. You may have noticed that the title of this piece is "Supreme + Sage", and you might have some details based more on Sage's design. Well, I really like Sage as a new character, and her design is cute. So, when I started planning out this piece, early on I decided to mix Sage into this piece. After all, as I just explained, Sage and Supreme have that connection.

With that said, on to the design and details. Mixing together the Gizoid's horns with Supreme's horns worked out really well. I think it's the first time I was really satisfied with a split horn for the Gizoid. I also mixed in Sage's hair to the upper head design, though I did mess with it a bit, lower the "swirl" so that red / blue line laid over the eye, and the eye peaked through. Though that came from a slight misinterpretation of Sage's design, I'll admit.

Also, I added more detail to the Gizoid's eyes (best seen with the most visible left eye) to mix in the cyber-like details of Sage's eyes. And I had mixed in Sage's sort of cyber-wire look you see with her hands, legs and around her dress, adding it to the rod on the limbs of the Supreme Gizoid, as well the under waist, parts that are usually the simplest parts of my Gizoid's designs, and just ripe for more cool detailing.

I ended up wanting to add each part of the Supreme Titan's gear, which are his awesome rifle, his drones, and even the wings that you seem him get during the intermediary cutscene leading into Phase 2. Shame those wings didn't remain during Phase 2 itself, they are just as cool as the rest of the Titan.

Finally, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go for the red lighting Supreme has while under the influence of The End, or the blue lighting he gets when Sage pilots him to join Super Sonic in taking on apocalyptic moon (seriously, though, The End made me think a lot about Kirby's final bosses). At first, I was leaning towards blue, since I mixing Supreme and Sage together, due to the fact Sage piloted the Titan, but then I thought about how Sage had a primarily black and red color scheme, until she started shifting to the white and blue coloring she gets closer to the late game.

Ultimately, I decided to do both, and make two versions of the piece: Cyber Red and Cyber Blue, I refereed to them as. This also included make the drones lighting, and well as the wings blue, which you never actually see them become blue after Sage takes control, so that is a unique design detail on my part. In fact, the Cyber Blue version is my personal favorite.

Oh, and one last thing. If you are wondering if this Gizoid Imitator of the Supreme Titan would be the same size as a normal Gizoid (or Sage-sized, if you will), or as large as a typical Titan, well... Honestly, I could go either way. I kind of lean more towards smaller, but I thought of a funny detail to add if you go bigger. Honestly, you decide which you like more.

Cyber Red Version only: So that funny detail I just mentioned is part of the Cyber Red version only. I didn't try to hide it, and it isn't very obscure, you might have already found it and laughed. But just in case, here's your clue in to look a bit closer.

Here is the other version of this piece:
