Description
This was my second lab project for my Graphic class this semester. We had to design an object with at least one lathe or sweep and one extrude or prism. If you don't know what those mean, they're basic ways of making things 3d from 2d polygons. This took me around 6 hours to complete using the program Dr. Scheme. The part that took the longest was actually the central part, because I couldn't get the color right for a long time and I also made some very stupid yet critical scaling errors and so it wouldn't generate right. I think I will put up some of my Work in Progress images of this one. The next project is to create an object or scene which is fairly photo-realistic to the item you were using as a model. Considering how much work I've been putting in on the "simple" projects already, this should be more of the same. I will maintain the transformers theme, so I'm uncertain what I want to do next.
