This is simply a reference image of Zephyr's weapons used in the Gizoid Archives.

Gizoid Archives - Zephyr, the Silent Cyclone,Model #: NG-050804Codename: ZephyrTitle: Silent CycloneFavored Skills:Ninja stealth and agilitySkilled swordsmanshipShuriken throwingAerokinesisInvisibilityExplosives expertiseWeapon: Hardlight Forest BowCharacter ConceptSo, Zephyr is another one of the Gizoid ideas that I requested from my friends and family, this one being made for my brother and youngest sibling, Jeryn.Although, I need to mention, due to another over-a-month delay in finishing these Gizoids, and how close my brother’s and my friend Savannah’s birthdays are (as I wanted these to be birthday gifts. Yeah, that plan didn’t pan out), and the similar theming of the Gizoids, we decided that Zephyr and Corva have a connected story, the two of them being comrades. Also, my brother’s birthday is actually after my friend’s, but I swapped Zephyr and Corva, simply because since they have a shared story, there’s going to be a lot of copying... and Corva has more to her story. So, to save time, I want Corva to go second. So, for my brother’s Gizoid, he simply wanted a ninja, with wind and speed abilities (although I think if you're going to use the wind element, speed or some kind of swiftness is to be expected), a laser katana, invisibility, and being a bomb master. That’s quite a few abilities, but simple enough to work with. And really, the design of the Gizoid could work well with the typical design of a ninja.(And with that note, I wanna mention that the time between asking for the idea, and when I actually began planning for it was quite a long time. So, when I started thinking about this Gizoid, but before I had the time to actually start working on it and gathering references for the drawing, I had forgotten the full idea. All I remembered was the laser katana and wind abilities. So... I thought this was meant to be a samurai Gizoid. But of course, I had saved the original idea on a document, since I was saving this project for later, so I was corrected on this when I actually began work on the project, and reviewed the original request. But a samurai Gizoid also sounds like a good idea, so I’ll save the for later.)I’ll admit, one thing I didn’t like that much, as I couldn’t wrap my head around it, was the name my brother gave the Gizoid. It... didn’t sound like a real name, phrase, or even a word, basically sounded weird, and I wasn’t a fan. So, I offered a different name, “Zephyr”. This means “wind”, so it fits with the Gizoid’s theme, and makes him sound a lot cooler as a ninja. Even then, I didn’t like having to do this, but I just couldn’t accept the weird name. Sorry for that, bro.Speaking of names... Zephyr’s title. My very FIRST idea was... “Silent Wind”. It would fit with the theme of a ninja’s stealth, and Zephyr’s wind abilities. But if you couldn’t guess, Silent Wind has a double-meaning here. And, uh, while funny, I think it would severely undermine Zephyr’s character. So, very quickly, I came up with “Silent Cyclone”. It still carries my original intention with the title, doesn’t carry the unfortunately double-meaning, and has alliteration that sounds nice! And again, like with Alder, the Gizoid I made for my friend Caitlin, this Gizoid’s model number has Jeryn’s birthdate, since it was intended as a birthday gift (even a VERY late one).I hope you like this, Jeryn!Zephyr’s DesignZephyr is a Gizoid designed like a ninja, with a dark-blue color to help hide him against the night sky, while also having blue-platinum accents, and deep blue eyes. His face plate is made to look like a lower mask, and he has a dark blue and platinum ring around his head, above his eyes, looking like a headband. He even has a pair of long blue cloth-strips hanging from the back of his head, to complete the headband look.Zephyr’s main weapon is an energy katana, made having a common grip with metal rings and diamond-openings going down it, and it forms a blue laser blade, curved, like a normal katana’s blade.Zephyr’s Weapons and Combat Style,Zephyr, as a ninja, is swift and stealthy, excelling in both stealth strikes, and direct combat. He is a master in swordsmanship, using his Gleaming Katana, an energy sword that forms a blade much like the famous single-edged curved sword. The Gleaming Katana, despite being an energy sword, but benefiting Zephyr's stealth skills, has a low glow, hum, and activation spark, similar to Argentum’s ultraviolet blades.Zephyr also is skilled with shuriken throwing stars, having nigh impeccable aim. And he is highly knowledgeable about the use of explosives, from bombs and flashbangs, to sticky bombs, all with the intent to place them either as a distraction, or hidden until they go off, depending on the explosive’s intended use.Zephyr’s Favored SkillsZephyr's Captured Skills are focused on ninjitsu, aerokinesis, and knowledge of explosives. He even managed to form an invisibility Skill using his wind abilities as a veil.At the very least, Zephyr is careful with the use of explosives, as they could obviously reveal his presence, in the most hard-to-ignore way.Aero-Pulse:With a forward palm thrust, Zephyr will cause a burst of wind to push enemies back, or at the very least, knock them off balance, acting as a stun maneuver. He can even use this to force projectiles off-course as a means of defense, or even to redirect these projectiles back to their senders.Whirlwind Burst:A stronger variant of Aero-Pulse, Zephyr will unleash of powerful whirlwind with him at the center, in order to blast his foes away.Sky Sever:Combining his katana with wind control, Zephyr will make a focused slash with his sword, causing the wind to slash through even the hardest materials, the more fortified constructs, with ease, as a disconnected slice.(This is slightly based on the Power Slash ability in Okami.)Shredding Cyclone:A step up from Sky Sever, Zephyr will use his katana to unleash a small cyclone that’ll travel forward and tear apart anything that gets caught in it, until it disperses.Gliding Star:As Zephry throws his shuriken, he will also use his wind abilities to control the curve of bladed stars. With Zephyr’s precise command of the wind, it seems that Zephyr rarely misses with his shuriken.Aero-Shift:Zephyr will directly infuse himself with the power of wind, greatly increasing his speed, to the point where he is only a blur. Moving like the wind, if you will.Due to the difficulty in controlling himself with this move (and the energy it consumes), Zephyr often uses this in spurts, to get around opponents, and deliver devastating slashes with his blade, or to cover short distances in an instant.Vanish:Using his aerokinesis infused with a little energy-manipulation, Zephyr can form a whirlwind that’ll cause him to vanish from sight, acting as a form of invisibility. It takes up a lot of energy for Zephyr, but it’s useful for stealth. However, it’s not perfect. Since it’s technically a field of cloaking, that means Zephyr is generating a field of energy. Meaning you can see him with anything that can track energy. But despite this, Zephyr will often use this when he is sneaking around, as added protection to his stealth.Smoke Bomb:One of Zephyr’s explosives, as common with ninjas and other stealth masters, smoke bombs are used to create quick cover to get away with, as well as a distraction.Flash Bang:One of Zephyr’s explosives, as you might expect, this unleashes a bright flash of light that’ll blind and stun enemies, also serving as a distraction.Explosive Shuriken:One of Zephyr’s explosives combined with his shuriken, this allows his ninja stars to explode on contact. They aren’t his strongest explosives, but they still pack a punch.(And yes, these are based on Espio’s explosive shuriken.)Sticky Bomb:One of Zephyr’s explosives, a basic explosive that can stick to surfaces, so Zephyr can plant them anywhere, usually with the intention of causing a chain reaction of damage, or sneak one onto a gigantic enemy, breaking open a weakpoint. They can even go off on a time limit, at Zephyr’s remote signal, or via proximity and motion.Cyclone Bomb:One of Zephyr’s explosives, this one combined with some of his wind power. When these go off, they release a large burst of wind, throwing enemies off their feet. These bombs also stick to surfaces, like the Sticky Bombs, as well as having time limit, proximity, or remote trigger options.Story and CharacterAssassins among the Gizoids tend to be looked down upon, since killing is disapproved of among the new Gizoids and their creators. But with the rise of the Silver Winter, Argentum, after being given the approval of the first Elite, Chrome, several other Gizoids became inspired to follow the path of silence with him. This would make them outcasts, but so long as they followed the rules, as Argentum had, through approved contracts and using stealth for spying, rather than killing, they would be fine.Zephyr was one of these Gizoids, but he wanted to take this a step further. Focusing on becoming a truly disciplined stealth master. So, to pursue this, he chose to follow the path of ninjitsu.Zephyr became a trained, no-nonsense member of the stealth faction of the new generation, and was viewed as a leader by them, especially when Argentum was later selected as an Elite much later, and thus spent more time working with the other Elites instead. Zephyr himself never cared for the title of Elite, not to mention he was too new of a robot to be selected at this point, but he was fine leading this group of outcasts. He even went out on lots of joint missions, especially with a fellow stealth-trained Gizoid known as Corva, the Night Raven. These two became comrades in arms, and close partners. They would work together in stealth missions, sometimes one would take point in getting guards' attention while the other would sneak past, sometimes they would both sneak in, splitting up to cover more ground and surround their targets, and sometimes they would fight side-by-side, one taking support while the other fights in front, or at least distracts the enemy, even switch these roles mid-combat.Zephyr in particular was good at taking down fortifications, walls, and other structures, from the inside, thanks to his knowledge of explosives, a useful skill Zephyr learned as a pastime. One time, using these skills, Zephyr and Corva took down a giant defense robot that was hijacked by terrorists.Zephyr didn’t know what his role would be in the final battle, when Kronos revealed himself, but he hoped that he would have a key part in destabilization his followers, crumbling the power of his forces from the inside. Unfortunately, his role in the end would be much different, far removed from the battle...After the End:It was during a routine mission, when Zephyr and Corva were working to take down a major criminal organization leader, hidden in a base in a deep canyon, away from civilization, to destabilize his operations. As with any mission, the pair of Gizoids had disabled their communicators, so they couldn’t be detected or caught by the signals. While this would usually keep them safe and help ensure success in their mission, at this one moment, it means they missed the beginning of the end. While on their mission, Kronos revealed himself, and the final battle began. Once Zephyr and Corva completed their mission, they finally were informed that the fight had begun, and they attempted to race back to help out.Unfortunately, before they could reach any kind of civilization, and massive, dark storm swept across the skies at unnatural speeds. And the pair of stealth Gizoids would quickly realize that there was more to this strange storm, as massive beams of negative energy began to crash down onto the surface. The Gizoid comrades did their best to escape the devastation, and did manage to escape, but not without a few scrapes. After the storm, preceding scans showcased that the atmosphere had been burned away, and any remaining life had been lost and was burning away...Zephyr and Corva, unsure of what they should do, now that their duty of protecting the world had clearly failed, decided to at least find out what happened. For the next few days, the Gizoids trudged through the ruined, burning landscape, looking for answers. That’s when, as night was beginning to fall, they found them...More Gizoids. And not just any Gizoids, but the Elites, [REDACTED], the Trinity Tactition, and Reverie, the Reality Weaver! They would’ve been on the frontlines, fighting Kronos himself, right?Zephyr flagged their Elite brethren, and began to ask what happened. [REDACTED] explained that a Devastation Storm was summoned, ending the world, and that Little Planet, where the battle against Kronos took place, had collapsed. When asked about why though, that’s when the reality of the situation took hold. [REDACTED] asked them to understand, that they shouldn’t have been used as weapons.Zephyr grew concerned, and asked again, who was responsible for the end of their beloved world. Kronos?“Partly,” [REDACTED] replied, “but he merely gave the Dread Zealot the power to do so.” The Dread Zealot? Zephyr had never heard of such a person. At least, he thought he hadn’t, until he heard that the Dread Zealot was...Parallax, the last of the Elites to be selected, who had been previously untitled.Zephyr grew angry, to think that one of the Elites could betray them. Weren’t dangerous Gizoids supposed to have been decommissioned before they could take such a position?...But [REDACTED] retorted that would he want to be destroyed, if his choice to be an assassin were to get him decommissioned?Zephyr knew something seemed strange before, but now, he knew something was wrong. So he asked the vital question: Where did [REDACTED] stand on this situation, the betrayal of Parallax and the end of the world. Before [REDACTED] could answer, Reverie interjected, claiming that the two Gizoids should join them, help them find the Time Stones, and eliminate Cobalt.Corva grew agitated by this, as it had become clear which side these Elites were on. But Zephyr stopped her. He knew little about the Time Stones, much less why these two might want them, but he knew that Cobalt was another one of the Elites. It was clear the Elites split into two separate sides, and Cobalt must’ve opposed [REDACTED], Reverie, and Parallax. And despite not knowing Cobalt well, and not knowing what happened to him, or what happened to Argentum and the other Elites. But he knew where he stood......And he drew his Gleaming Katana on the traitorous [REDACTED]. And the Trinity Tactition called it a shame.[REDACTED] and Zephyr immediately clashed in battle. Reverie attempted to strike Zephyr from behind, but Corva engaged the Reality Weaver in rage. At the very least, Zephyr was glad to know that his comrade stood by him in the end. However, Zephyr knew from the beginning that this was a losing battle. His Vanish Skill would not help him in this battle, as Gizoids can track energy, including the field made by his invisibility Skill. Zephyr’s wind abilities were far more limited, due to most of the atmosphere having been burned away. And as good as his abilities in stealth were, they would help little against the Trinity Tactition, because as his title suggested, he was a strategic master. Even his explosives could be easily predicted by [REDACTED].But Zephyr owed to his friends, to the whole world, to try. Besides, he never planned on simply lying down and dying.Zephyr put his best into this battle, but as he knew would likely happen, he stood no chance against the Elite Gizoid, and he played right into [REDACTED]’s hands, as he dealt a critical blow.As Zephyr’s power began to rapidly drop, he looked over, and found the Corva hadn't fared any better, as Reverie ripped her whip swords out of the Night Raven. Before Reverie could slice the already-defeated Gizoid to pieces, [REDACTED] stopped her, saying that this battle was finished, and to leave them to think on their defeat. They could’ve joined them, and chose not to...But as the Elites left, Zephyr knew he would never join them. With his energy fading, the Silent Cyclone managed to get up, and make his way to his friend, embracing her, as the pair of stealth Gizoids powered down for the last time... Pleased that at least they stood for what was right, even if they couldn’t do anything to change the end...
