Having some trouble responding to comments right now, it just keeps hanging and not actually submitting, guess I'll try again later tonight. Anyway, did this spitpaint *late* last night, er, this morning, before I went to bed, 30min. with CS6 again, the theme I chose was biomechanical laboratory. I had this weird idea, a mix of Communion and some MtG Phyrexian stuff along with some Giger Xenomorph influences haha.I was gonna leave well enough alone but had a few minutes to spare so I threw together some weird alien dudes overlooking the operation. I think that helps sell the eeriness of it lol.

Haha I'm not sure where the origin of the term came from, but basically it's a quick study that's done in 30min or less, you select a topic, no photo textures allowed, everything must be painted.
Might be an offshoot from "speedpaint"? Hmm
