30min. spitpaint. Parts are built up out of other things, like the 'wings' are actually a clone of the head/face stretched out and then duplicated/rotated several times. Merged all that together and duplicated that again, off set the second one and viola, wings
Much of the background design is just the torso duplicated and stretched, then inverted and played with the opacity and blending mode a bit. Painted one main energy plume for the inner torso area then duplicated that all over to create different effects.

Very true, I mean I look at kids less than half my age doing things that I can't even figure out. But I don't let it bother me because I figure, eh, I'll just keep on chuggin', trying to get better every image, every time I fire up Photoshop, even if it's to just play around

This reminds me of the MTG monster "Platinum Angel". It looks like one that's breaking down and releasing its celestial form from beneath its Artifact armor.

Hehe the last time I was able to play really was before the current era of the game, back when it was just space dungeon corridors and that's it, no open world stuff. I used to use Nova Prime and Mesa a lot, but again haha, I'm pretty casual and haven't played in a while. Game looks wild now though, will give it a shot some time since I'm stuck at home so much
