Description
I was thinking of a design along the lines of a Khartu-Al (Star Citizen) or B-Wing (Star Wars) kind of starfighter, something that was very vertical with a centralized cockpit. Originally my thought was to have just the cockpit but as I was painting I figured seeing even just a small full fighter or two in the distance would help sell the idea a little more, at least show that it was part of a fully-realized ship (er...)

I'd imagine something like this would probably fare far better in space rather than in atmosphere, I don't think it's terribly aerodynamic and that the thrusters would have to work hard to overcome basic lack of aerodynamics lol. I mean maybe I'm wrong? I kind of don't think so... At the very least it'd suck to land the way it is, unless it shifted/transformed like the Khartu-Al.

So after I was done with the spitpaint and submitted it to the FB group I kept thinking about this hologram that was to the right of the pilot. It kinda worked but I didn't care for it too much, so I removed it and replaced it with a larger map on the HUD in front of the pilot. I also added an overlay of orange, which shifted the overall hue a bit but helped to unify all the elements of the image a little more.
