Started off as a head and slowly over the decades he built the rest of his body.My submission to this month's (08/17) Character Design Challenge on Facebook, theme was Robots and Androids
I like juxtaposing different material types, like a flesh face perched atop dark boxes attached to some lumpy metal chassis.

I think it stems from a bunch of stuff... I was thinking of this Samus Aran piece I did with a bulky suit, maybe some Warframe - Grineer, maybe even Robocop applications, like going with a robot head with a human-ish face, some Jakub Rozalski because that guy is on my brain these days... I like juxtapositioning small and large arms and legs so I went with a T-Rex-ish set up. I'm sure subconsciously there's some Katoki Hajime and Shirow Masamune in there too haha.
A lot of work I do is a filtration of things I've seen I think, so basically it's a bit of a buffet/mess regurgitated out through my wacom lol.

Health advisory...my close relative just got into Intensive Care Unit due to artery blockage. Β So perhaps let's spread the word to eat healthy. Β Life is too short to waste away in the hospital.

I have to get into a healthier lifestyle, starting to with exercise and regular checkups, still gotta work on that diet though hehe.

the general look remind me a bit of the grineer in warframe, actually it would be pretty amazing to have an enemy with that design in that game, and have it work on a computer with his tiny arms and have a weird walk cycle

That head looks really familiar. Β I think that might be your face that you've used in a few other things.

It's a basic grumpy big guy face build I tinker with, strong cheekbones with slightly sunken eye sockets, etc.
