Description
Basically it was inspired by arthropods, pillbugs and centipedes, stuff like that, with spines instead of sensitive hairs for detection, just something to deal damage and dissuade attackers from getting close. I'm not happy with the back as a back, I know bugs have plates covering their nervous cord but I still think it needs that middle indentation of a humanoid's spine...

The blood is born out of wanting a contrasting color to work against the blues, something striking that I know I could pull off easily, at least enough where I could tweak it later. It's quick and dirty, seconds of noodling with a small brush and a deeper red. Maybe it tells a little more story, that the wayward arthropodic warrior is a bit worse for wear and not so invulnerable, even with his plates of pokey armor.

Snow is an easy cover, that's totally faked since I don't live somewhere that has snow so I just have to go off of my memories, things I see on the news, and faking it enough where it hopefully comes off as passable.
