Technically I guess there's just one tattoo, unless you wanna try to be meta and say the blood on his fists count as more.

Wanted to try something a little simpler, more straightforward with the emphasis falling mainly on the color to help sell the theme. The kanji is poorly written and doesn't curve according to his back very well, if this were something I was gonna put more time into that would be an area I'd specifically address.

Originally the image is considerably darker but when I fiddled with things a bit towards the end I found an effect where it upped the key on most areas, left some darker gray, and let the red pop out even more. Basically I flattened the image, duplicated it, then set it to soft light at 33% opacity. I mostly like it, it's a little iffy on the lower half but I think it's ok..
