My submission to the Blizzcon 2011 Fan Art Competition. This was my first all digital piece, from start to finish all in Adobe Photoshop (CS3, hope I win 2nd 3rd so I can get a copy of CS5 lol) which is something I never tried before; I always did thumbnails in a sketchbook but this piece was conceptualized and completed all on the same digital canvas.

The idea behind it was I wanted to conceptualize a melding of Blizzard universes and showcase WoW, SC2, and Diablo 3 all in a single piece. Originally I approached it with a very different design... but I love Zealot armor, Blood Elves, so why not use both? Her chestpiece is based on the T12 Rogue set but the Zealot power suit is a Silvermoon custom, originally sporting a Spellbreaker-style shield on the left arm. Deathwing's maw is a smoldering wreck to the image's left, I wish I had planned to include him originally, he's a bit hobbled on... but still smoking lol.
