Last DoodleDump of the year people!
So here are a bunch of character brainstorms for a 3-part cinematic we had to do for one of my classes.
The theme given was "Jeanette walks and dies", so each team had to make an animation loosly based off that sentence: most were funny, some were dramatic but ours was ... well, pretty darn depressing, haha!
The plot: Two siblings, Jack and Jeanette are seperated following a zombie outbreak. A few days later, they see each other again, but Jeanette is infected and on the verge of turning, so Jack decides to mercy kill her before she goes completely off the deep end. Sadness insues.
We had to hand in a storyboard, a 2D animatic and a 3D animatic, (which you can watch HERE - go to 4:48), along with moodboards for the characters, environment and props, and a simulated production schedual. A pretty big project, but my partner and I were pretty happy with the results.
