Abilities/Attributes:
Due to years of practice and training, Zero is capable of reaching approx. 1.3x the speed required to perform the Sonic Rainboom. He is just slightly incapable of performing the Flash Void.
Has above average reaction times, due to multiple tries at the obstacle course.
Can breathe flames over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature.
Has a slight southern twang to his voice.

Demeanor:
Personality: He's pretty easy going most of the time and enjoys meeting new people and seeing new things. Despite his obvious talent as a racer, and heightened physical traits, Zero is modest about his abilities, and won't let his pride get in the way of making things right or meeting people that most might consider "below" him. He is a gentleman, and overall optimistic.

He remains level-headed in the face of danger or times of hardship, instead preferring to think things through calmly and not rush his decisions.

He is known to be a good loser and have fun when everything is fair, but be frustrated other times when he loses due to bad luck or underhanded tactics. If he loses fair and square, he is a good sport about it and may even offer to buy the victor a drink. However, he doesn't lose often, and is usually very determined to win at whatever he competes in.

He is very generous with his winnings, and likes to donate portions of his paychecks to his family, or to charities. He likes helping others in whatever way he can.

Friendship/Loyalty: He has no trouble at all making friends with new people, and sometimes may go out of his way to say hello to somebody who looks like they're having a bad day. He maintains that his fans and friends are the reason he is so successful, and he likes sending gifts at birthdays and holidays to show his appreciation and to let others know he is thinking about them.

Bio:
Born in Oatlahoma to two dragon/pony hybrids, Zero was a happy colt. His father was a wealthy land owner and his mother owned a few local stores (as they had been passed down her family for a few generations).

At school one day, he raced some of his friends on the playground and won without even trying. It earned him his cutie mark. Taking this new development to heart, Zero made a promise to himself he'd pursue his passion of racing for the rest of his life. Initially starting out as an underground racer, who raced against others in a car he had rented, he began his rise to fame by beating other well known racers. His fame grew until he was talked about in the papers for it. His parents, who had heard of the achievement, gave him his own kart for his 16th birthday. He drove it around the local racetrack for hours and volunteered in many semi-pro teams to learn all there was to learn about racing.

When he wasn't racing or learning all he could about the sport, he could often be found cruising through the back roads of their plantation in his father's truck or flying through the autumn sky, enjoying the sights and smells that the country had to offer. As a result of those calm days roaming the countryside in his free time, Zero's got a much deeper appreciation for nature and the country than most other racers his age do.

One day while he was volunteering for another semi-pro team, his boss left his kart unattended and Zero took it for a ride (as his own was at the garage). His boss came back and saw him driving. Very impressed with him, he offered to sponsor Zero. Accepting the offer, Zero's boss sent him to his first race in Baltimare, and the race went so well that after a few more races in different cities, Zero earned enough money to buy a house there. Around this time, he got hooked on cigarettes and became successful enough to start his own racing team without having to work under someone else's guidance.

While in Baltimare, he met Cameron (who at the time was in charge of the flags at the end of the race) and they quickly struck up a friendship. After a few months, they eventually realized their feelings for one another and got together. Zero was devoted to his job as a racer, spending endless hours at the track, and hanging around the garage long after dark. With Zero away so often, Cammy began to feel neglected. Soon enough, after Zero had left for an Equestria-wide racing tour, Cameron's heart began to wander. The Christmas after he left, Zero returned to Baltimare to visit Cammy, with the initial intention of proposing to him, only to realize he had cheated on him. After that, he's never been able to feel the same about anypony else. ( fav.me/d6tj7pi ).

He has been racing professionally with and without his kart across Equestria ever since, meeting new people daily, and trying to let go of his troubled past. He likes to visit his parents and his brother whenever he can, and is still deeply appreciative of the countryside and the little things in life that few other ponies take the time to notice..
