It's actually pretty simple: You recreate a sprite or pixel work bead by bead, meaning 1 pixel equals 1 bead
These things can get rather big

Well, it seems you have a lot of fun re-creating your favourite characters, considering how many there are (but my guess is that that isn't even the end of it), and they all look pretty detailed, so it's clear to anyone looking at it that you put time into it. I'd like to give it ago one day, because I love the old pixel art from the NES/SNES/Genesis days, and it would be cool to see that art style with my own eyes. Maybe one day. For now, you keep at it!
