Haaah, so clever.

The butterflies were a big pain in my rear. c: I've never been that good at drawing butterflies and then I just had to have them glowing. Haha. My husband walks over to me and says, "They're fireflies caught in that bluish-black thing." (If you don't get the reference, watch more Disney. c: ) I like how it turned out though! The sky took way longer than it could have as I started out coloring it with a gray colored pencil (as I've lost track of my black one...) and then I just painted over that with black watercolor (which I think might be cheating) and after that I decided to just do the trees with paint too. c: I used to hate watercolor paints, but I've outgrown that in my latest years. Haha.

I really noticed how many things were wonky with the original line art [link] once I started to color it. I think I'm much better with color than I am with drawing (though I'm not yet a pro with either). Still, in spite of everything, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Been spending all of this week off and on with this baby (too many light sources) and I'm glad to be done. XD
