Description Erm. I should have waited a while before I scanned it. There are some things I'd like to add, but I was just too gosh darn impatient. Also, the picture didn't really fit into the scanner. Yaaay, scanners. How I wish they worked ever.

A gift for Ingrid! c: In hopes to bring a bit of joy to her soul, because I like her. Baah. I hadn't drawn Coral in a while. c: It's not anything especially fantastical, but I still hope you like it, as I spent enough time on it, as I'm not used to watercolors still. If I do more on it I'll post that one here instead.

There's a blizard happening outside right now. I found this amusing. XD

It looks amazing!!
You did an incredible job on it! I love it so much!
Coral looks so beautiful the way you drew her. I love the whole scene. and the beautiful title you gave it.
I think you did an amazing job on the background and the fire. And the lighting effects look really good.^-^
Thank you so much! You have definately succeeded in bringing a bit of joy to my soul.
Just saying thank you doesn't seem like enough. ;.; It really means a lot to me that you took the time and went through the trouble of making me such a wonderful gift.

Ah, thanks so much! I'm really glad you like it. c: I was really pleased by the original drawing of her (though her hand by the fire ended up being really hard to paint, so I'm not perfectly pleased with that, but hey). And you are so very welcome. c: It brings joy to my soul to know that I've brought some to yours. ^^ I thought about trying to mail the picture to you if you're interested in having the original.

I would love to send you the original, if I can. I don't think I'd be able to until late March at the soonest.

(sorry for the later reply).
That's ok, there's no rush.^-^
It would be awesome to have it, but you really don't have to do it if you dont want to!

I wouldn't mind sending it at all, as long as it doesn't cost a bunch... Haha. XD

Well that's what I was worried about.
Since I live in the Netherlands, I'm not sure what it would cost you to send it all the way to me. Though I think it's mostly the weight that can make it expensive. As I remember from sending gifts to Dylan who lives in America, the heavier the more expensive.
Well either way, just let me know if/when you want to send it and I'll give you my address via a note.

I also think weight's a big part of it... I sent a few letters out in January, one to a friend in Africa and another to a friend in Japan (the one to Japan ended up being a little more pricey because it was a bit heavier), and those didn't seem real expensive. Guess I'd have to just try and keep it light. And hope to find a nice enevlope that's big enough (which seems like it shouldn't be too hard, but the watercolor paper I used is a bit bigger than normal printing paper).

yeah.^^
I think maybe one of those yellow envelopes with that bubble stuff inside would be good. It would give some extra protection to the picture.
Though.. like you said the paper is a bit bigger, so I'm not sure they have them in that size.
I don't think an envelope and a piece of paper will be very heavy together. It shouldn't be that expensive. Shouldn't being the key word here. I mean you can never know for sure I guess..

What IS Anthro?

CocoaFereless In reply to TempestVortex [2013-02-14 01:09:29 +0000 UTC]

Anthro is short for "Anthropomorphic" and basically means when animals or other non-human things have human-like characteristics such as walking on two legs and speaking, as I best understand.
