I've been doing all these classical art references but didn't think about my favourite artist!
So here is art nouveau Korra based on the painting 'dance' by Alphonse Mucha, who is kind of my personal idol.

I know, Korra doesn't really look like Korra here - I just love Mucha's original so much

This is also my The-Korra-Finale-Was-Awesome-Appreciation-Fanart
Seriously, how brilliant was the finale? And how can anyone expect me to wait so long for season 2 after it?
I loved every bit of those last episodes, from Amon being Tarlok's brother, Tarlok returning in the first place (did I mention I love him ) to Asami NOT switching sides and kicking her father's ass, Iroh being goddamn awesome!, Mako shooting lightning at Amon while being bloodbent (that was pure gold), Korra NOT going into the avatar state and actually losing her bending (who saw that one coming? Noone), Aang reappearing and Lin getting her bending back.
I could go on.
I won't.
There were of course some weaknesses here and there, but considering the producers had only 12 episodes and didn't know from the start they'd be able to make a second season, Korra was quite the adventure and I think I have never grown fond of a show that quickly before.
So thanks to Bryke for writing fantastic and ambitious Kid's shows (that are not as much kid's shows on second thought....)

I am really rather happy right now and hope a lot of people feel the same thanks to Korra
