I feel like this is slightly outdated or it might just be we have different versions of FA, but I don't see a Bitmap button. D: Could you help me?

Do ya think you could do a tutorial on how to share your custom brushes? Like, how to make it a downloadable file to share?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
cocobunnie In reply to CandyGirl163 [2015-08-09 20:52:06 +0000 UTC]
As of right now you can't make a brush downloadable unless you write a script brush, so sadly the only way to share a brush is to share your alpha and settings! Otherwise, you just throw it in a zip file for everyone to enjoy. C:

Why do you have a brush called 'Lil Kim Jung ll'? XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
cocobunnie In reply to PusheenCC [2015-06-21 15:30:15 +0000 UTC]
It was one of my brushes that I set at a size I used a lot. I like making brushes with little personas, like they're little friends who help me with my art! >w< Lil Kim and Big Momma both got replaced when my computer crashed though, so now it's only Pen and Eeny Meany.

You should be able to right click and unzip it.
Did you download it via the link to the right of the brush pack?

When you download the brushes, you right click on them and unzip the file. If you're on mac you can just double click on them. C:

Ah, then you need to download it via the link to the side of the deviation. You'll get a zipped folder with all the brush alphas and the settings you need to make them look like the preview!

if you put it on your desktop, you should be able to find it via firealpaca by opening it from there. C:

Did you input all the settings correctly?

cocobunnie In reply to KatieWolf55 [2015-06-04 21:27:27 +0000 UTC]
There's a png with the settings included with each brush. You just copy those using this tutorial and thats it!

KatieWolf55 In reply to cocobunnie [2015-06-04 21:54:21 +0000 UTC]
i did that but it uses the whole image instead of the brush
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
cocobunnie In reply to KatieWolf55 [2015-06-04 22:05:16 +0000 UTC]
No, you use the png of the alpha for the brush, and then use the settings image as reference to input the settings manually. Try this video for more help. C:

when i download this it just opens up as an png file and drags around a repeated pattern of the image :0

cocobunnie In reply to ChelbeaArt [2015-05-19 03:01:11 +0000 UTC]
Yes, that's what it is! You need to input the settings included with the PNG and then it should look as it's meant to. C:

When I click "Add brush- Bitmap" it just pops me up to my computer folders (you know where you click Videos, Images, Or Media) and when I try to find the file folders, it doesn't appear. But when I try to look for the files OUTSIDE of FireAlpaca, the brush files ARE there.
