There's probably not a single person who remembers this character or the show he was in but I rewatched the cartoon one year ago and I was surprised: it's awesome. It's called Di-Gata Defenders and actually I hated it as a kid. But I was stupid back then. It's one of the best cartoons I know :3Well, Seth is kind of the protagonist. He has some "slowly becoming a monster" issue in the first season.

Oh man. Storm Hawks was one of my favorite shows, and another one I never got to see the end of. I'm doing the same thing as you. Gonna have to add Storm Hawks to list. probably Jackie Chan adventures too. So far I watched Dragon Ball, Monster Rancher, and Medabots. Oh, Digimon and Pokemon too. God that last one took forever. But yeah now I have to watch Storm Hawks next. Every time I tried to watch it on TV it was always repeats. Now I have the power of the internet!

Watching Dragonball would take soo long xD Never heard of Monster Rancher or Medabots... I tried to watch Digimon Adventure but I didn't feel any nostalgia and I have to admit I didn't really enjoy it either. It is just too much of a kid's show. You know, I love watching old cartoons/anime. But only if you can also watch it as an adult. Digimon is a bit too childish I think. Otherwise, I would have watched everything. (Btw, did you hear that they will make a Digimon Adventure sequel to celebrate Digimon's 15th birthday? It will have older protagonists and all. I will totally watch this
Anyway! You have watched Pokemon? Everything? O.O As a kid, I only watched until the Hoenn chapters ended. But I don't feel like I have missed anything because I haven't seen the rest. You probably know what I mean

Dragon Ball was fun. Much better than Dragon Ball Z. Pokemon is a terrible show but I watch it anyway. Only have the new x and y season to watch now. I thought Digimon was good, but for me is was a nostalgia overload so I suppose that makes a huge difference. I'm super interested in this new digimon show now. Monster Rancher and Medabots both had good first seasons and boring second seasons. Monster Rancher is a lot like digimon so you may not like it but I thought Medabots still held up pretty well. And its really funny, which helps a lot. Quite a bit of nostalgia involved there too though. I've never heard of huntik. Googled it to confirm I've never seen it before.

Yeah actually Pokemon is a terrible show.
Digimon WAS good, true but as I said, I wouldn't watch it again. The new show has sparked my interest though. I heard the characters will be 17. Reminds me of Digimon Data Squad, the only Digimon series I would watch again. I loved it when I was younger :3
I guess, German TV never showed Monster Rancher or Medabots...
Huntik is pretty cool, I think it's as old as Storm Hawks and DGD. If you should ever finish the rest you should check it out

The Kanto season of pokemon actually is 'better.' You're right that's it's basically the same, but I feel like the fact that it's the first one is what makes it better. Every season after that is very similar, basically copying the first. So at least the first is original. Not the best though. Johto was the worst one, Hoenn was better because the contests were new so it wasn't just the same as the first two seasons AGAIN. After than it was just the same as Hoenn until the Black and White seasons when Team Rocket was actually competent and the bad guys started winning and being an ACTUAL threat because Ash sucks. That part of the show was actually good. Rest... well, not good.
I think I'll check out Huntik after Storm Hawks!

Hmm, yeah good point. Everything could be different now if they hadn't decided to copy the first seasons... Maybe they thought the concept was so good people would watch it again (you know, the way every episode works: meeting new people, discovering new pokemon, Team Rocket trying to ruin everything and defeating Team Rocket
Team Rocket is a threat in Black and White? As I said I never saw anything after the Hoenn episodes so it's hard to imagine that these losers are capable of actually doing something threatening xD

Pretty much all I remember about Storm Hawks was the characters were awesome. Even(or especially) that little dude. Radarr I think it is? I can't remember their names...
And yeah Team Rocket, at least for the first half or so(they do eventually go back to useless Team Rocket) of Black and White consistently succeed in their plans and never blast off, when they don't outright succeed they always have a plan to get out without getting their asses kicked. I believe Ash had to defeat Giovanni after they managed to capture a bunch of legendary pokemon for him. So yeah it was leagues better than the rest of the show especially Johto where every episode was basically the exact same episode.

Wow, I didn't know that O.O But still, the show's concept is old and has really become boring. I know so many people who would like to have a change. Like making Ash age. I always have to laugh out loud when I search for good fanfiction (for the games, but some idiots mixed the show and the games on ff.net and you always have to search for a long time to find something) and I find in a description "smarter Ash" xDD

Ah yes, the fabled 'Smarter Ash.' I remember one season where Pikachu lost to a fresh Snivy I believe it was. I mean come on Pikachu had been through like 4 regions at that point and can't beat a Snivy that's never battled before owned by a dude who has never battled before? And Ash forgot how to catch Pokemon. There are a lot of people who would love a Pokemon show that just doesn't have Ash in it at all. They need Ash to have brain damage at the start of every season so new kids can jump right in and not be TOO lost. It sure would be nice to have something at least more for 'all ages' than the currently show which is obviously for like, 10 year olds.

I didn't see that Snivy episode but I know that there are some things that are definitely wrong in this show. I wonder why the producers haven't realized yet that the average Pokemon fan isn't 10 years old anymore? Or if they have, why don't they change something?
At least there's still the Pokemon manga and I'm sure, if they made the manga a tv show it would have much more fans than the current anime. In Germany they don't even broadcast it anymore because nobody was watching it...

Do you still have anime on TV? We once had a channel that broadcasted them every day but they have removed every single one by now. Everything that's left is the kids' channel with the silly new cartoons you mentioned T.T

I think there are a couple channels. I haven't had TV in years though. Last time I did they had only a few anime and most of them weren't particularly good, so we didn't actually bother getting those channels. They had shows similar to like what's on Netflix but fewer of them. There are many more English dubbed anime now so I'd be surprised if there still wasn't a decent channel for it.

Ooh, now I'm sad but I have expected this. The problem is, in Germany anime=children's shows. Everything that is animated is said to be for kids only. Even younger generations seem to think that because older people kinda educate them that way. Most people don't understand that some anime aren't even suitable for kids
The anime "boom" seems to be over so they don't bother broadcasting them anymore.
But the power of the internet is increasing and you don't have to watch anything on TV anymore

I was exactly the same!! When I was young, I was like, watching the show and be like "well... I seen best!!"
But like two years from now, I saw a random picture that make me think of this show, so I've watch it again, and I was like addicted XD
