Felt like drawing my two favorite characters from the Golden Sun series, Garet and Mia. I always thought they'd be so cute together, especially after that scene from the Jupiter Tower !While I was drawing them I was reminded that there's going to be a third game to the series , except that its gonna take place 30 years into the future - first Avatar, now golden sun? what is this.
I saw Garet's kid, and I'm pretty sure their family lineage is connected to Grandorf somehow.
meanwhile I'm still iffy about whether or not I got Garet's hair quite right : /

The only thing bugging me about this pic is Mia's lips. Looks like she's wearing lipstick, and somehow that seems out of character. Other than that it looks great, even Garet's hair.

Better, but a still a little...lush, imo. Idk, those girly lips seem almost as misplaced on Mia as they would on Garet to me. Maybe a little less definition on the lower lip? Could just be my personal taste. If it's your style, who am I to complain?

I can respect that, I was aiming for a more western style in her design, and I thought this was an interesting twist for her character. I don't really have one set style, i'm always trying to switch it up and experiment, so I guess this pic would just be an example of me fooling with the design aspects..

I could tell you were going for a western style, and it actually worked out fairly well. That one detail just happened to stick out and threw me off a bit, lol. But yeah, it's actually a really nice job

Yea, that makes sense - something that has been occurring lately is this anime and western fused style, where at first glance it looks like anime, but when you look at their facial features, they have that western quality! haha Thanks again!
