In order to motivate myself to do more art on here and just for fun, I'm going to do a theme month.Welcome to March of the Mascots! Throughout the 90s and early 2000s, there were dozens of video game companies that tried to make a "totally rad dude with 'tude" type character to market to the impressionable youth of the time. Some are still known and loved today. Others are hated or long forgotten. Regardless, I'm here to pay them tribute. Every day this month I will be posting a drawing of a video game mascot of yesteryear.
"What could POSSIBLY go wrong!?"
Probably one of the more blatant and annoying Sonic knockoffs. I'll be honest, I rushed this one. I find this character very unappealing and wanted to get him out of the way ASAP.

Oh my... only ever played this game once when a friend borrowed it from a video-hire shop... he might have gone somewhere, if he hadn't been the kind of guy who died from slipping on an oil-stain or bumping into a stationary roller-coaster cart...
With better handling, poor old Bubsy might have gone somewhere, but then they tried to make that crappy 3D game whose bad reputation is notorious even to people who never played it... what footage I've seen in Top 10 Worst videos, it could hardly have turned out worse if they'd given it to someone like Dingo Pictures to screw up...

I'm kinda surprised that one Bubsy fanatic didn't make a hate post here before getting banned later in August 2015...and thankful.
Unfortunately, I can't relate to the majority, as I love Bubsy's games, especially Bubsy 3D. I've always been one to play games for their music and not their gameplay, story or whatever. And Bubsy 3D's music clicks me in all the right places.

The way you draw it, your dislike of the character almost shows. And have to say... This character seems better suited to being in a Looney Tunes episode than a video game.
