Description
NOTE: This is NOT meant to be a threat to Rare or its employees. This is meant for humor. As many of us know, Rare has not been doing so good since Microsoft bought them out. So some of their characters have decide that it might be time for a change. I really need to stop drawing characters from memory. Conker doesnβt look right at all and Kazooie looks odd. I also decided to put in Rash from Battle Toads and Rattle from Snake, Rattle and Roll.

OMG, this is so funny, Banjo & Kazooie, Conker and Rash having their revenge on the person from Microsoft who bought the characters' company from Nintendo by roping him up and surrounding him!Β Β
Imagine if there was one like this with Activision, showing Crash, Spyro and Guitar Hero characterΒ having their revenge onΒ the person from Activision who bought Crash and Spyro from Sony and discontinuing the Guitar Hero seriesΒ by roping him up and surrounding him.

You know what, I hope Microsoft fails on it's new console next Game-Gen because It's their fault that Rare was going downhill! Nintendo would always give them Ideals on their games that would make them good at challenging at Nintendo console games!
NINTENDO DOES WHAT MICROSOFT DON'T

sigh, I still don't see any new CBFD games now, last one was a remake.
rare's golden age was N64, where it has lots of fresh idea came out from them.
heck, they made like so many nes titles, more then n64 games.

I think a Snake, Rattle and Roll sequel has a good potential, too bad since it's Microsoft, it'll have to have some blood and gore, (not that it's bad) it's against formula.

Thanks!
Yes Conker really needs a sequel. Not a remake. A sequel! Maybe one were Berri doesn't die at the end.

I'm not sure about The new Banjo-Kazooie game.I haven't played Conker's BFD.But you just can't beat the classics. The new version of Banjo and Kazooie are wierd. And conker looks plain wierd in Live and Reloaded(Theyeven cenored the Great Mighty Poo's song).

Yeah thats one of my main grips, the character designs. I also don't like how that scraped all the origanal gameplay elements of the classic Banjo-Kazooie games for a custom vehicle thing. Its a creative idea, but they should have made new characters for the game as it has nothing to do with the other Banjo-Kazooie games.
And all the cencoring in Live and Reloaded kind of ruins the game's humor, especially the Great Mighty Poo song.

well, let's see
Rare used to be a close co-worker of Nintendo, now they left Nintendo and all Banjo-Kazooie fans are bitching
Sega was Nintendo's greatest rival, now they work together and all Sonic fans are bitching
coincidence?

well after CBFD, Nintendo's relationship with Rare began to slowly fade

yes, Rare felt creatively restricted and so they went over the Microsoft who now restricts them even more but they can't do anything about it

No not really. I'm sorry but I honestly can't see how its Nintendo's fault. If the Banjo-Kazooie games suck, its Rareβs fault.
I also can't say I agree with you on Sega. The Sonic games aren't just on Nintendo systems like the Wii & DS but also X-Box 360, PS3 & PSP. So if the Sonic games suck, its Sega who's to blame, not Nintendo.
I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. I just don't see your argument.

lol
I was mostly joking on that one
still it is a fun coincidence
(I think the following part will once again cause trouble, not that I care)
Personally, I don't see a reason why are all the fans complaining so much.
The games themselves aren't as bad as people claim. The majority of the games got quite decent ratings from various high-ranking gaming-mags and gaming sites, which means that they can't be as bad on their own. And from my own experience they are actually quite entertaining (and fun is all that matters in games)
So since the problem isn't objective, it must be subjective. Now, I know how fans can be really sensitive about changes in their franchise, but change is inevitable. Weather for the better or the worse, weather people like it or not.
Even Mario changes (and for some reasons, Mario fan's don't complain as much)
My point, I really do not understand why people are so upset about this stuff.
Probably has something to do with the fact that I never stick for too long in any fandom, or the fact that I was raised to always try to make the best of every situation
(ok, you may flame me now as many people before you did)

I haven't played Viva PiΓ±ata but I have heard it was good. I didn't mean all the new game are bad, just not as good as they use to be. Also I do look forward to the new Banjo-Kazooie (although I don't like their new blocky look)

Ah, hehe, they've done a few mediocre games like Grabbed by the ghoulies, yes. But we still have got Perfect Dark 0, Kameo: Elements of power and Viva PiΓ±ata - that's quite a comeback.
Me and the new Banjo-Kazooie look... It weren't, like, love at first sight but I'm used to it now. The old look feels so outdated, I bet there are over 9000 platformers with that design.
... And did I tell you that they've hinted a sequel to Killer Instinct?
π: 0 β©: 1
Code-E In reply to yuypyup [2008-05-16 21:43:10 +0000 UTC]
yeah, Grabbed by the Ghoulies wasn't that great a game. Also Conker: Live and Reloaded wasn't that great, at least not compared to Bad Fur Day, but I guess it was okay.
I guess I don't care too much about the new Banjo-Kazooie look as long as the game is good, but they look like characters out of a Dr. Suess book to me. And thanks for the heads up on that new Killer Instinct! Its about time they made another one of those game!
