Words Below:

Creature Hunt was a virtual role playing game that allowed its players to interact with the real world.  It was the most life-like VRPG yet.  Xavier picked his character and walked through his neighborhood attempting to catch various types of virtual creatures.  His virtual glasses enabled him to see both the virtual objects he could interact with in game and the actual objects he could interact with in or out of game.

Anyone playing the game would see him as Xena, a girl in her early teens wearing clothing from centuries ago.  Anyone else would see him as he truly was, a boy in his late teens wearing modern clothing.  This might confuse anyone suddenly removing their virtual glasses but no one wanted to do that.  Virtual animals could appear at any moment and the only way they could catch them was by wearing their virtual glasses.

Xavier had a plan.  He placed a training center in a slightly out of the way place where no one would bother to go unless he specifically told them where it was.  Only his teammates would know where to go.  Together they could work on a strategy to excel as much as possible.

Unlike the other recent VRPGs, Creature Hunt did not have the hypnosis option.  Since the players had to walk around and interact with the rest of the world, it was considered too dangerous.  A few people involved with the game actually got upset about this, but the majority concerned about the safety of their players and a few others worried about lawsuits got their way.

Xavier did not care too much about this.  He just wanted to play the game.  The other players in the area would know the name Xena either as a powerful ally or a powerful opponent.
