Rebecca was a young girl born into a magical family. Although she felt special and gifted to have such powers, it saddened her that she could not tell anyone her own age about her powers. Only her relatives and their friends who were all much older than she was.

Tyler was a man in his 20s who lived in her neighborhood. He babysat her occasionally so he knew who she was but he did not know anything about her powers. That would soon change.

Tyler was going for a walk around the neighborhood when Rebecca approached him and invited him inside to see her new doll collection. He did not think this was anything out of the ordinary so he agreed to it.

When he went inside, a tea party had been set up for him. A cup of tea had been prepared for each of them and between the tea cups was a small cake. Tyler sat down and took a slice of cake. It was delicious. The tea was wonderful too. It made him feel excited and sleepy at the same time.

As he sat there in comfort and stared into space, Rebecca showed him her collection of dolls from all over the world. She picked up a doll from the United Kingdom that looked quite a bit like her though wearing a different outfit. Then she asked Tyler to pick one. He picked one of the oriental dolls.

While Rebecca was holding the doll she picked out and telling Tyler all about her collection, Tyler started to change. He was becoming more and more like the doll. It was not an exact match just like Rebecca did not look exactly like her doll either, but it was quite clear what Tyler was becoming.

Tyler had become a young girl about the same age as Rebecca. Even her clothing had changed to resemble the doll.. Taylor seemed a more appropriate name for her so the name Tyler faded from her mind. Knowledge of her past and how she got there in the first place also faded from her mind but she did not seem to care. She was content.

Rebecca knew her parents would not allow her to keep Taylor so she would eventually have to be returned to where she was but all that could wait. She had plenty of things lined up for them to do. She hoped she would be able to do it again in the future. Over time Taylor would become more and more active instead of just staring blankly as she was doing. She smiled thinking about what was to come.
