Duke was going to a Halloween party and wanted to find a good costume. He entered a costume shop and looked through the various costumes to find something he liked. When he spotted an oriental black dress it seemed to be calling to him. It looked like one the character Harmony from Splatoon 3 had worn.

The costume looked too small for Duke to wear, yet when he touched the costume both it and his own clothes started to glow. There was a bright flash of light forcing him to close his eyes. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself wearing the costume. Another outfit worn by Harmony was where the costume used to be.

Duke knew the changes were not yet done. His body was changing too. His skin turned pale. Long pink tentacles grew out of his hair with green and yellow tips at the ends. His body became smaller and thinner as he took the form of a humanoid sea anemone, a female one. All of his, or her, features became like those of a video game character.

On her left leg bracelets appeared. Pink lashes appeared below her eyes which were bright green. A black and white striped clownfish ended up in her hair but with all the other changes that did not concern her. Due to all the changes, the dress no longer fit her, properly. Her arms disappeared inside the sleeves of the dress. Her face, which had gained distinctly feminine features, made her look like she was always daydreaming.

Memories of being Harmony entered her mind as the other name faded away. She recalled being the lead singer of the group known as Chirpy Chips. Her surroundings also changed. The costume shop blurred and faded away. In its place was the general store known as Hotlantis which was found in Splatsville. The store was empty. Its owner was Barry C. and he was nowhere to be seen.

Harmony knew how the store worked and what she needed to do. While the manager was absent, she would run Hotlantis. She would take care of things! Once her shift was over, she would be able to attend the party. In the meantime, she cleaned up the store as best she could and waited for the first customer to arrive.

Looking down at herself she smiled. Her dress would be the perfect Halloween costume. First, however, she needed to take care of the store.
